Here are some examples of CSR initiatives:

DONATION:

  • Program details: Small, high-end incentive travel program at the Four Seasons Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

  • CSR initiative: Part of the gift budget was allocated towards a donation to a non-profit organization in Jackson Hole. The non-profit organization was mentioned in the pre-trip material with a QR code linking to their website and announced at the farewell awards dinner on-property with a card set out at each place setting describing the work of the non-profit organization.

  • CSR impact: Over $10,000 was donated to the non-profit organization between the host company donation and attendees who contributed on their own. 

  • Non-profit organization supported: Hole Food Rescue

ON-PROPERTY ACTIVITY:

  • Program details: Medium-sized incentive travel program at Secrets Capa Cana in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.  

  • CSR initiative: Part of the gift budget was allocated towards an on-property CSR initiative. The non-profit organization was mentioned in the pre-trip material with a QR code linking to their website and announced at the farewell awards dinner on-property. The on-property CSR initiative was an optional hour on the last full day of the program in the resort ballroom where attendees could assemble bags of non-perishable food items and hygiene supplies for employees of the hotel who had been impacted by the recent hurricane and also the non-profit organization 2nd Mile Missions.

  • CSR impact: Over $5,000 was donated to the non-profit organization from supplies donated and a cash donation. 

  • Non-profit organization supported: 2nd Mile Missions

OFF-PROPERTY ACTIVITY:

  • Program details: Medium-sized incentive travel program at the Hotel Arts in Barcelona, Spain.

  • CSR initiative: Part of the gift budget was allocated towards an off-property CSR initiative. The non-profit organization was shared with the attendees through the program's mobile app and sign-up was available through the mobile app. The off-property CSR initiative was an optional 3 hours on the last full day of the program where attendees were taken to a shopping center to purchase non-perishable food items and hygiene supplies along with holiday presents for children for the local chapter of the Red Cross. 

  • CSR impact: Over $6,000 was donated to the non-profit organization from supplies donated and a cash donation. 

  • Non-profit organization supported: Red Cross
